Project Engineer
Responsibilities: Scheduling of sub contractors on site and ensuring the materials are on site as needed. As well as ensure that their work performed on site is in compliance with the contract documents (contracts, plans and specifications). I review submittals and cross reference them with the specifications for each project. I handle on site change orders for work that is performed in excess of the company’s or our sub-contractor’s contract. I perform safety meetings on site and verify that everyone on site is in compliance with safety regulations. I submit RFI’s (Request for Information) to architects and engineers on behalf of our company and our sub-contractors. I also keep up with daily reports of the project to ensure we are on schedule and to determine if we are entitled to any extensions due to weather. I am involved on varies projects in the bidding stages as well. I have received three promotions since working at RG Anderson. I was hired as a carpenter and layout person, then I was promoted to field engineer, and finally to Project Engineer.

Responsibilities: responsible for all the work performed in the trac home and commercial landscape divisions as well as the lawn maintenance division. I scheduled all day to day work performed by all crews and ensured the quality of all performed by each crew. I kept up with cost analysis on all projects and the weekly hours worked by each employee. I procured all materials for each project and inspected the quality of those materials. I bid residential and commercial projects and performed client consultations and did landscape design.

Responsibilities: I oversaw all day to day activities of the landscaping crews. I was responsible for the proper maintenance of all equipment and placement of that equipment on each related project. I kept up with all materials and hours worked on each project, as well as the total hours worked by each employee on a weekly basis. I ensured that all projects were done properly and in a timely manner.
