• Observe, identify, interpret and document physical and mental status changes, response to treatment or medications.
• As part of the multi-disciplinary team, assist in formulating diagnosis, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute episodes.
• Participates or lead individual or group counseling and family sessions.
• Administer psychotropic medications, monitor use and document reactions.
• Obtain medical, psychiatric, social and family history of new admission and develop discharge plans.
