Description:

Barclays Reporting is a leading global provider of electronic transaction solutions for institutional investors, financial institutions and corporations worldwide. Through Barclays and BARX, Barclay’s capital offers electronic execution and a complete set of services across fixed income, foreign exchange, futures, commodities, equities, money markets and structured products.

Barclays/BARX reporting application is a reporting tool used to generate report for futures, commodities, and client valuation. By using these applications reports can be downloaded online and can be delivered as schedules in the report scheduler. Barclays reporting application provides report editor which is used to customize standard reports as per the client requirements. It has a feature named as News which is used to communicate to the users in case of any changes to system, new contracts added and to make announcements. It has three streams Live Stream, Contingency stream and DR team.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and understanding the requirement of development with FRD.(Functional Requirement Document)

• Preparation of scripts for new tables, views, triggers, altering tables, insert scripts for standard tables and delete table scripts.

• Created new procedures, functions, tables, views and triggers.

• Technical document (Contains detailed explanation and code modifications of the development) preparation.

• Preparation of test cases.

• Testing of the development.

• Fixed bugs if any during consultants (Testing team) testing.

This Project “EWH “ is the automation of all possible functionalities of Employees who are working at Home for the Organization.

• In this we can maintain Employees database including the details of Salaries, Attendance, Shift Details, Address and Contact Details etc. which are required for the Organization to monitor the Employees.

• We can also maintain the Roles details that could be allocate to the Employees and Skills accepted by the Organization.

Contribution:

• Involved in enforced data integrity by applying constraints to achieve quality of the data in the database.

• Participated in writing check constraints by using oracle’s predefined functions which will help in increasing the performance.

• Involved in writing Validation of Triggers and utilized the advantages of cursors.
