• Consulted to large and mid sized chemical companies and to Food & Beverage companies. Successfully configured and implemented the Datalogix (Oracle) ERP software package in over 20 process (chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, foundries, textile, plastics and paint) manufacturing companies.
• Worked with the development group as the chemical subject matter expert, designing customizations and modifications to enhance the functionality of the ERP product.

• During an eighteen-month period I custom designed and implemented a bilingual ERP system for Groupo Alpha (the fourth largest company in Mexico), establishing the materials/supply chain management departments for all eight manufacturing sites. I trained all personnel, wrote division wide supply chain policies and procedures, consolidated staff, developed and implemented supply chain strategies, saving the client over $6 million annually.
• Implemented a complete Supply Chain Network/System for TRW Automotive Aftermarket Division. The division consisted of one Central Distribution Center and thirty-two distribution locations resulting in annual savings of over $5 million.
• Improved worker productivity, manufacturing throughput, product quality and installed management control systems at BASF’s textile division; consisting of eight plants - Generating annual savings of over $8 million.

Fortune 500 Medical Device Manufacturer doing $3 Billion in annual sales. I oversaw and monitored the purchasing of Chemicals, steel, packaging, plastics, electronics, vehicles, travel, MRO and office supplies for the entire division. Negotiated contracts, worked with the Legal Department to structure contracts, worked with the finance department to qualify suppliers, performed sourcing, make vs buy analysis, developed vendor grading and monitoring systems, performed contract administration, worked with the Purchasing agents and buyers at all 8 manufacturing locations.
