· Developed “Greenfield” plant pro-forma’s for manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Mexico.
· Completed plant burden studies and developed quoting rates for the following processes: press, welding, painting, cut & sew, injection molding, extrusions, foam, foam-in-place, full seat assembly and JIT activities.
· Developed and implemented ER&D program budgets and tracking procedures, saving $2 million dollars on a $24 million dollar budget.
· MRP implementation team member for CMI/CSI software. Responsibilities included the hiring and training of plant accounting personnel for both U.S. and Mexican facilities, the verification of costed bills of materials and routings, and the development of cost reports for month-end journal preparation.
· Designed and implemented weekly plant “Score” reports. These reports consisted of key operational statistics comparing actual performances to targeted factors.
· Created and published monthly executive summary reports which included commentaries on each plant’s operating results while focusing on forecast to plan and actual to forecast variances.
· Served as Plant Accountant for six months at a Cut and Sew Operation in Mexico and for five months at a JIT Automotive Seating Plant in Maryland.
