• Main activities and responsibilities:

Aerodynamic development for Team Lotus F1 (August 2009- Present).

The aerodynamic development can be divided in three parts, the first one consists in the wind tunnel session

preparation and it includes the definition of the priorities, allocation of design and production resources, definition

of the model surfaces in a “conceptual way”, check that the work of the draftsmen matches the targets supplied,

definition of modularity for the model parts and eventually writing of the documents necessary during the wind

tunnel tests. The second part consists in the execution of the wind tunnel tests. The last part involves the wind

tunnel results analysis and the writing of the session reports.

Aerodynamic development for Team Force India F1 (November 2008- August 2009). The job was similar to that

described above.

Aerodynamic development using simulation tools (CFD) of race car (November 2007-November 2008)

Aerodynamic development for Team NASCAR Forniture Row (June 2007–October 2007). This time the

development consisted in the design, starting from scratch, of the wind tunnel model and the following mapping

tests. Few days have been spent testing components for Talladega race.

Test and start up of the wind tunnel FT2 in Casumaro, Italy (January 2007- June 2007)

Aerodynamic development for Team Renault F1 (December 2005-December 2006). The job was similar to that

described above.

Deputy wind tunnel manager of the wind tunnel Aerolab S.r.l., Bologna, Italy (July 2005 – November 2005).

Aerolab and Fondtech have the same owner.

The activities and the responsibilities were to check the main wind tunnel parameters to provide reliability and

quality of the results. Development of the wind tunnel through the improvement of the procedures and plant.

• Main activities and responsibilities: Mechanical designer in the “special group” of the factory that was the world

leader in the business of the automatic machinery for the production and packaging of cigarettes. One of the
