1)2 Months Internship Program:-Worked on an on-going and under research project of the Molecular Diagnostic Department of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center.

- AIM & OBJECTIVE OF EXPERIMENT ALLOTTED:-

Elucidation of genotoxic effect of Hepatitis B Virus on human peripheral blood lymphocytes.

- PARAMETER OF STUDY:-

Evaluation of incidence of HBV infection by the quantification of its DNA through one of the advanced cutting edge technologies via. *RT-PCR & COBAS-Amplicore*.

-Qualitative analysis of Primary signal transducers as a measure of DNA Damage through Immunoflourescence technique.

2)1 Month Training (Grow-Tips): Practised the techniques of plant tissue culture for the invitro production of plantlets from Grow-tips Training Institute.

- AIM & OBJECTIVE OF EXPERIMENT ALLOTTED:-

Study of general methodology involved in the micropropogation technique by use of various types of explants as root, shoot(apical & auxillary) meristems, leaf & etc.

Minor training :

15 Days -Bioinstrumentation (BMHRC):

Objective:-Studied the working principle & instrumentation of the biologically important instruments via. RT-PCR(Real Time- PCR),COBAS-Amplicore, Flow Cytometer/FACS (Flourescence Activated Cell Sorter), Electrophoretic techniques & Flourescence microscope.

1Week Training -Biofertilizers (ABDC Ltd.):

Objective: Studied the preparation of innoculants (N2 fixing bacteria & phosphate solubilizing bacteria)& their use as biofertilizer.

1Week Training-Mushroom culture (Grow-Tips):

Objective: Studied the invitro growth of fungal micellium.

Additives:

Gone through the demonstration of few more experiments:

- Immunology - Studied the Cell Death Detection Elisa & Immunoflourescence analysis.

- Proteomics –SDS/PAGE, protein lysis & its quantitative estimation.

- Cytogenetics-Metaphase spread of an adherent cell line.

- Attended the National Seminar on “Globlisation and its impact on

environment”.

- Participated in the workshop of “Molecular Biology and Immunological

techniques” organised recently in the college.
