To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Brian Sabattis. I have known Brian for more than nine years and am pleased to be able to assist in this manner. I was the Nursing Home Administrator at Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Inc. in North Creek, from August 1, 2000 to August 17, 2007. During my tenure Brian was the Assistant Maintenance Director and then appointed Director of Maintenance shortly thereafter. I worked closely with Brian and have the utmost respect for him as a Maintenance Director and person. He did a superb job as Maintenance Director and was keenly aware of budgetary requirements for his department.
Brian Sabattis has a natural ability to solve any and all problems. While at Adirondack Tri-County, we encountered many technical and mechanical difficulties. Brian was knowledgeable in every field possible and 98% of the time corrected/fixed/solved whatever problem we encountered. He had a tremendous ability to keep major equipment operating. This was so important when the home was faced with financial hardship. He oversaw a 4-person maintenance department and 10 person housekeeping/laundry staff. He was a working director available 24/7.
He not only took care of the nursing home but also the attached Hudson Headwaters Health Center. He directed and participated in following duties: (not inclusive) painting; floor care; carpentry; electrical; plumbing; mechanical; boiler repair/maintenance; snow removal; grounds, and personnel management. In addition, Brian was also responsible for the regulatory mandates placed on us from the New York State Department of Health; OSHA; the Department of Environmental Conservation; New York State Department of Labor and USDA. He kept meticulous records and was successful in any survey process. He worked nonstop to ensure all mandates were met.
In closing Brian Sabattis would be a tremendous asset to any organization he worked for. I would certainly hire Brian for any maintenance position at any facility at which I was Administrator. Should you have any further questions I am available at the following numbers: home 518-***-**** or cell 518-***-****.
Respectfully,
Karen Woodcock

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Patrick Cole and I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for
Mr. Brian Sabattis. I have known Mr. Sabattis as a community member of North Creek for many years. In August 1999 after carefully reviewing many applications I hired Mr. Sabattis to be the Assistant Maintenance Director for the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home. During our years of working together I discovered Brian was extremely knowledgeable in many aspects of maintenance. Brian has a natural ability to solve and correct most problems that arose such as boiler malfunctions, plumbing breaks, and electrical problems. He was able to repair commercial equipment such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, and refrigerators, as well as automotive repairs, small engine repair to grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers and snow blowers.
As Assistant Maintenance Director, Mr. Sabattis was responsible for staff scheduling and reporting to payroll directly. Brian was also in charge of giving routine fire drills for all staff and gave building safety in-services to all new employees. Brian was also versed in many of the health and safety codes that are required by New York State and kept detailed records for the purpose of routine inspections.
Mr. Sabattis has also overseen many major projects that were needed to the nursing home due to the age and general wear and tear of the building. Brian was highly involved with the installation of a new septic system, boiler system, and roofing system. He took on the responsibility to plan and organize these efforts while coordinating and communicating with all departments to ensure that these projects did not disrupt the work environment.
I can confidently recommend Brian Sabattis for a position in your organization. He has proven to me that he is a competent and reliable employee who would be a great asset to your organization. If you have any further questions please feel free to call at 623- 4611 or cell phone 683-2597.
Sincerely,
L. Patrick Cole
