This is an agency that has sent me to various assignments including:

1. Health screenings: These set ups where the employer organizes health checkups for the employees in various departments. I have done some for Sam’s Club, Cusco, and Folsom police department.

2. School districts where I have worked as Elementary school nurse, attending to the needs of kids, who have various health challenges such diabetes,autism,ADHD and seizure.

3. Long Term Care Facility (nursing Homes).Most of our patient population are older adults who are facing various health challenges due to age or disability. I have worked to administer their medications, maintaining the efficient health records as required by the state, I have advocated for the need to have these individuals get access to proper care and their dignity is also upheld, and to maximize their independence as their illnesses can allow. I complete their daily assessments both physically and mentally while at the same time helping family members to understand the reason behind their loved one behavior. Their humane treatment and their dignity has been my priority.

4. I have been assigned to Sacramento county jail where I have worked to maintain vaccination schedules for the inmates and control other infectious diseases most of which are airborne; in collaboration with others I have achieved the respect of the clinic and trust of the inmates.

5. My current assignment is at the Sacramento Job Corps clinic wellness department under the supervision of Cecilia Johnson.This is a center where most of the patients are teenagers who need second chances in their lives after being in trouble with the Law, been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

a. I have maintained vaccination schedules as required by Department of Labor. My open door and respect policy have made it easier to deal with these students not just for me but also for other staff members who had found these kids uncooperative in the past. I have gained their trust both as a role model and a trusted professional they can approach.

b. I have been able to structure care plans for students with chronic illnesses such as asthma,seazures disorders, high blood pressure, chronic back pains, obesity and HIV to give them necessary accommodation they need for their everyday lives either in the dorms or at home.
