WORK EXPERIENCE

I have more than 20 years experience working for various International Organizations and Nonprofit Organizations including: UNITED NATIONS POPULATION FUND, The Churches’ Council for Child & Youth Development, CARE and, British Council//DFID in the field of human resource development programs both in USA (Illinois, Nebraska, Louisiana and Texas) and developing countries. I am now working as an Independent consultant helping small agencies and groups to develop strategies, grant writing and training.

Designed programs and projects and managed offices and supervised staff. I offer extensive experience of training personnel, training needs assessment, and management development. I also have international experience of project management, including impact evaluation of programs and staff. Train, advise, supervise and evaluate staff and volunteer positions as appropriate. I worked in managing programs in India, Germany, UK and USA and Sri Lanka. I have consultancy experience in Asian countries - specializing in capacity development.

I am also a Certified Counselor and facilitator, as well as a Certified Master Trainer and Project Management technologies.
