HIGHLIGHTS
Developed a Native component for the Making Connections Family Support Program with the Lethbridge School District #51. I worked as a Native Family Support worker and was responsible for administering, evaluating, and delivering a family support program designed to improve grades, attendance and learning for identified Aboriginal students attending four north side elementary schools. In August 2011, I purchased a food trailer and had gained experience with marketing and promoting the food trailer as a business. I wrote proposals, applied for and received a small business grant and secured spots at various outdoor festivals for the months of August and September 2011.
