The Fellowship of Lights is a shelter for children between the ages of 12- 17 years of age with a variety of mental, substance abuse, physical and/ or behavioral problems. A lot of the youth are placed there by court order from Department of Juvenile Justice. My duty as a Childcare Worker was to provide supervision at all times. This is a structured facility which includes teaching, group lectures, crisis interventions, and assisting them with practical living skills such as: cleaning, cooking, and assisting them with finding employment, attitude, and building productive relationships.
