• Monitored project activities and presented issues/resource availability to the planning team
• Created an OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) weekly dashboard which was an important communication tool for the operation team as well as tracking the utilization of the machines and pressmen
• Created 5S audit for the whole production line

• Developed 5 S project by designing and organizing work stations to reduce non-value added operator time and ultimately, increase productivity
• Managed a $300K project which involved coordinating procurement of capital equipment, interacting with vendors, schedule tracking, and planning new equipment and workstation layout requirements.
• Prepared layouts in AutoCAD for workstation set up and facilities layout optimization
ARAMARK, Burbank, CA Aug 2008 – May 2009
Internship
• Created a new standardized method for handling approach for floormats which focused on minimizing cost, improving process flow and increasing productivity targeting 6 ARAMARK warehouse plants in Southern California
• Key responsibilities involved performing financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis and project management
• Developed a top to bottom cost-benefit analysis on the impact of purchasing more mat rolling machines versus manual hand rolling as well as analyzed the leasing vs. buying options for machines
• Developed three standardized mat handling techniques that doubled the efficiency rate, improved current processes; created a seamless process that developed best practices consistently across all ARAMARK plants
• Created presentations and Excel models to clients on creating standardized mat handling technique
• Managed to earn Lean Management Certificate at the conclusion of project
