Educational Leadership Consultant (July 2007- March 2008)
Alpha Phi International Sorority, Evanston, IL
• Traveled over 35,000 miles throughout the US and Canada partnering with University administrators, chapter advisors and undergraduate members to assess chapter development and identify strengths and weaknesses by assessing recruitment, programming, marketing, financial status, and risk management practices
• Served as a liaison between International Executive Office staff and University administrators and officials
• Designed and managed membership strategies and marketing plans with a focus on increasing chapter membership, promoting the organization’s image and furthering organizational development
• Conducted workshops for audiences to achieve buy-in and increase productivity with focus on recruitment and professional development; facilitated workshops for 120 attendees at Northeast Regional Conference 2007
• Project management experience establishing a new chapter at the University of Connecticut; designed, customized and executed successful marketing campaign, exceeded year-end recruitment goal in first three weeks of project by recruiting 90+ members, trained officers and advisory board, managed all aspects of membership and operations

• Supervised 85 active members, 30 officers, 65,000 dollar budget, and improved the organization of Program Development, Chapter Operations, Marketing and Recruitment Departments
• Designed, developed and currently continue to maintain chapter website for marketing: www.ucdalphaphi.com
• Increased Fall Formal Recruitment return rate from 70% to 91% as a member of the Recruitment Management Team
• Created new annual philanthropy event in Spring 2005 that raised over 3,300 dollars for cardiac care
Legislative Intern (January 2007-March 2007)
University of California Office of Federal Government Relations, Washington, DC
• Attended congressional hearings, higher educational associations, coalitions meetings and seminars, briefings and forums and prepared reports for UC officials; assisted with congressional visits from UC faculty and staff
• Researched variety of higher education policy issues and learned how to advocate effectively for the University
Senator (November 2004- November 2005)
Associated Students of the University of California- Davis (ASUCD)
• Authored, edited, and voted weekly upon legislation that allocated funds for student programs
• Supervised 8 ASUCD commissions and 29 ASUCD units, budgeted over $9.8 million, and worked with student leaders and administrators to implement projects as a Senator; utilized and delivered skills in analysis and consensus building
Summer Orientation Leader (June 2005- August 2005)
Advising Services, UC Davis
• Facilitated orientation of 4,600 first year and 1,200 transfer students; directly advised approximately 250 students
• Directed both large and small group discussions for students and parents in attendance and guided campus tours
Student Director (May 2005- June 2007)
BloodSource, Sacramento, CA
• Coordinated marketing and promoting of 5 on-campus blood drives each year to faculty and students, hosted by non-profit blood bank servicing the Northern and Central California areas as well as over 40 hospitals in 25 countries
