Throughout my career I have gained experience in supervising multi disciplined workforces. Career summary Having undergone my apprenticeship in a small engineering company and upon gaining experience, I was promoted to foreman. I left this to broaden my horizons in the oil & gas construction industry (Offshore/Onshore) and gained valuable experience in this field: I have held positions in supervision at all levels up to Construction Supervisor/Construction Engineer. In total, I have 18 years of onshore, offshore and experience on various oil & gas engineering projects which include: fabrication yard, oil terminal, offshore hook up, offshore post hook up, High level shutdown Coordination, maintenance & modification; experience in supervision of fabrication of all exotic metals, hydro-testing of pipe spools, fabrication & out-fitting of structural steelwork; consolidating of punch lists and hand over of systems for commissioning.

Ensuring optimized constructability and best practice installation techniques are adhered to for the development of Piping/Mechanical workpacks, for the Hook up of a new offshore production Platform.

Duties included general maintenance, repair and installation of pipework.
Pipefitter – OSI oil tanker.
Upgrading the sea water pump room, installing new pumps, pipe work and pipe supports. Also carried out pressure testing.

Carrying out all hot work procedures during shutdown. Also installing a new seawater deluge line. and some general maintenance work carried out
Pipefitter – Montrose Platform.
Destructing pipework in the mud pump room. Also installing a new 2 inch diesel line to the west face fire pump. (Using lock ring fittings). This also included making the pipe supports for the 2 inch diesel line.
