Recruited approximately forty (40) qualified candidates with a construction and/or carpentry background to attend a week long CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) course. While instructing this course on a bi-monthly basis, the candidates were measured of competence either through a National Vocational Qualification or completion of a recognized apprenticeship together with my confirmation that the holder has undertaken an approved health & safety awareness course.

Placement Officer/ Case Manager 2000-2002
Coordinated with different employment agencies, universities and job training centers to prepare and stabilize the clients to move forward on a more productive path. Assisted candidates receiving public benefits in a six (6) week placement program in all efforts to prepare them for employment. During this intensive program the candidates would attend various training courses for employment readiness and then were placed on a two (2) week work assignment for work experience with local businesses. Around sixty-five (65%) would gain employment after successfully completing the program.
