Warehouse floor associate 2007-2008
. Started out as an out bound CSR in shipping and receiving. Printing and matching bills of lading and preparing paper work such as customs invoices for trucks shipping. Answering phone calls and emails from customers in a timely and professional manner. I was then asked to switch over and handle inbound shipments. I checked in drivers for delivery appointments, looked up PO#s, double checked quantities from vendor bills, double checked math and assigned any over, shorts, or damages for the received loads. Received in PO’s systematically and created ASNs for incoming shipments. From there I moved in to the order processing role because of my accuracy and organizational skills. I processed 95 percent of the warehouse’s work. Made changes to customer orders via phone, email, and weblogs. Assist customers with tracking information on shipments, create work orders, and handle special projects for premier customers. I work side by side with our transportation team to make sure the proper terms of payment are noted for each order and any customer specifications for transportation services are meant. All my orders are organized by a full truck schedule that is run multiple times a day. I also assist team members with tasks they may need help completing. Obtaining online quotes for expedites and guarantee shipments and estimating total shipping time to meet any of our customers delivery concerns.
