I created a short film called “Craven”. I was responsible for all aspects of production leading a team of six people. I also worked in all areas of production.
01/11 - 03/11 Thesis Film - “FlashBulb” Character Animator
Worked on a team as a Character Animator. I produced 7 shots from pre-vis to final polish. Also saw over other animators work, polishing up extra shots for final render.
09/10 - 11/10 Senior Film - “I” Character Animator
Helped pre-visualize the directors senior film setting up cameras and animating shots from blocking to final polish.
Animation Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Motionbuilder
I am fully knowledgeable on the principles of animation and apply it to all of my animations. I have excellent skill setting up multiple shots and finishing animation from blocking to final polish.
Previsualization Maya, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, PhotoShop
Previsualization is a strong aspect of the animation pipeline. I can visualize complex scenes and through storyboarding or using a 3d software I can block out highly important information.
Modeling Maya, Z-Brush
I am highly experienced in modeling various characters and items either hard surface or organic.
Very comfortable in Linux, Mac, and Windows environments
I have a complete understanding of the animation pipeline in film, tv, and video games. I have experience using motion capture technology and bringing it into a 3d software to clean up the animations for production. I have a solid understanding of cinematography and can apply it to 3d software to set up my cameras for animation.
