Quality Auditor/Return Specialist

I was responsible for the inspection of all components used by the assembly department. I did this by checking dimensions on prints to the actual components using digital calipers, bore gauges, plug gauges and pin gauges. I used the 5 whys and 8D to find solutions to quality problems. I was also responsible to spot check outgoing shipments for accuracy. I was also responsible for the timely inspection and processing of all customer returns. I attended two kaizen events while in this position. I was also responsible for the purchasing of all expendable supplies used by the assembly department. I have used Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. I also used JDEdwards and a WM system developed by Manhattan Associates by the use of computers and RF guns. ( 2 years)

Assembly Planner/Quality Auditor-

I was responsible for the entire assembly department planning .When doing this planning I kept in mind lean philosophies. Also, I communicated with our buyer and our customer service any shortages of components needed for upcoming orders. We shipped all orders on time as long as we had the components to build them. Used the Kanban system for our large volume assemblies. I wrote and implemented standard work policies on the shipping of products to Yamaha and to John Deere Turf Care. The Quality Auditor duties are the same as above. ( 1 year)

Buyer/Expediter-Lithia Springs DC

I was responsible for all the ordering of everything needed by this DC to fulfill all customer demands in a timely manner and working with vendors to make sure that everything arrived when it was needed. I was also responsible for maintaining the inventory turns in a lean manner. I also processed all customer returns. ( 2 years.)
