I am patient, carrying, and responsible person with 8 years experience in Home Health Care. I am seeking a position in a nursing home as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Experience

In 2002 I began working as a caregiver in home health care. I was placed in homes by many different home health care agencies. My clientele were elderly individuals with health problems in need of various cares. I care for clients with dementia, post stroke, heart disease, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, and injuries. I have experience transporting, ambulating, feeding, providing hygiene, and passive range of motion with my clients.

Today I am employed by a client with severe dementia who is disabled and bed ridden. I feed him, give bed baths, transport using mechanical lift, treating bed sores, provide passive range of motion and communicate with him.

My previous clients required similar care. Some clients were end-of-life Hospice patients that required making them comfortable with minimum amount of pain. Others were mobile but required assistance with activities of daily life.

Education

• Currently student of College of Dupage taking pre nursing classes to get into a nursing program
