• Preparing and completing applications in coordination with Sales Executive/Account Executive(s); submitting applications to eligible and appropriate carriers – Liberty Northwest/Safeco, Umialik, Scottsdale; Western Heritage, etc.; following up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
• Handling Commercial Accounts ( = > 10k premium) - ordered and issued binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verifying their accuracy; forwarding them to client, state agency or other interested party ordering the evidence with appropriate correspondence.
• Processing renewals in coordination with Sales Executives/Account Executive(s) according to agency procedures; reviewing accounts to determine if direct or agency billing was appropriate and invoicing billing accordingly.
• Verifying new and renewal policies and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.
• Quote, Field Underwrite, Issue and Endorse Personal Lines insurance products (home, auto, boat, etc.) on behalf of insurance companies - including but not limited to Safeco, Encompass, Kemper Preferred, etc.
• Providing coverage counseling to potential and current customers to determine needs and ensure understanding of the products being offered or sold.
• Customizing and analyzing insurance programs to suit individual customers’ needs, often covering a variety of risks
• Assisting customers in turning in claims: directing them to preferred service providers and connecting them directly with company claims representatives to set up their claim file.
• Document and maintain records of customer calls and conversation through Applied TAM agency and AMS 360 management system software programs.
