DETAILS ABOUT SKILL

As a 1st Class Rigger on a daily basis, I performed rigging operations in a industrial, construction, and marine environment . Performed installation of telecoms tower equipment, antenna (gsm/microwave), telecoms tower construction, microwave antenna alignment, performed Coaxial Feeder Testing . On board naval vessels from hooking onto crane slings, wire slings, various blocks, 4way slings etc. performed signalman operations via radio, and hand signals to crane operator. Performed tying various knots to ensure load is secured during lifts exp. (bowling, square, clove hitch, half hitch knots). Performed various ways of balancing heavy loads to determine best for secure transport on forklift, and air. Also Determined best rig for heavy lifts depending on weight, weight-distribution, size, and sharp edges of machinery. Used various mathematic formulas to determine weight depending on type of materiel (wood, metal, steel, iron etc.)Performed attachment of links, wire rope using various wire clamps (1inch 1/2inch )etc. used chain-falls to hoist various loads into air, and to drift onto foundations. Performed various weight testing with cranes, boat davits, pipes, j hooks etc. Tested rigging gear for safety proper tagging, and stability. Used various nylons for hooking onto crane blocks. Used beam-clamps, rope, winches, pulleys, blocks, air-falls, pallet rigs, shackles, 4way cables on an average daily basis.

OTHER- Operated 60/80 ton mobile cranes, performed routine maintenance on cranes, forklifts etc.
