USAA, Company Store Senior Retail Specialist (04-03 to 09-07)
As A Senior Retail Specialist I Provided coaching and guidance to the store Retail Specialist
to ensure that they had a good understanding and were capable of contributing to the goals and
objectives of the USAA company stores. Provided feedback to employees regarding results of
customer surveys and provided feedback to the manager regarding performance and
development opportunities. Reviewed weekly financial performances, and resolved variances
from forecast. Tracked physical and computerized listings of merchandise allocated to store
returned to inventory , supplier or transferred between store locations. Made recommendations
for merchandise acquisitions based on inventory requirements and requested feedback from customers. Responsible for store validating supplier’s sales records, collecting commissions, ID
badges and escorting suppliers in and out of the building. Trained new employees with new
company during the transition between companies. Was over the post office inside the company store. Responsible for making sure all mail was processed correctly and done in a timely manner. USAA Company store Retail Specialist (06-99 to 04-03)
Acted on behalf of Store Supervisor in their absence at three separate store locations. Monitored
inventory requirements to ensure the stores sales performance. Provided inventory transfers
between store locations. Worked closely with store supervisor to identify problem areas and
proposed solutions. Proficient in all store functions to include; ticket sales, and customer service.
