SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS & SKILLS

o Developed automated financial reporting. Recruited to upgrade a manual reporting system that was inconsistent between operations. I developed a fully menu-driven system, using Access and Excel connected to live ERP data, eliminating manual entry and creating accuracy and consistency across all operations.

o Reduced cost of SOX reporting. Recruited to set up SOX reporting. Initially it required over 40 man hours of manual input. By connecting Access to an existing company-prepared database, I automated the entry of financial information into the Excel SOX worksheets, thus reducing the man hours to 8 hours each month, which resulted in a savings of 80%.

o Developed cash forecasting reporting. Recruited to revamp a highly unreliable cash forecasting report. Client utilized multiple software systems which did not communicate with each other. By pulling the information from these systems into Access, I standardized the process and improved the forecasting to within a +/- 10% acceptable variance.
