MANAGING QUALITY, SAFETY & PRODUCTION COSTS
• Managed a factory of 400+ union employees and up to 16 management personel to achieve goals of the world's largest ketchup factory.
• Responsible for improvements to safety, quality and production cost goals for the Fremont Ohio facility.
• Successfully improved quality, safety and production by developing and implementing new measure and management proceedures.
• Reduced total recordable incident rate (TRIR) from 14.00 to less than 1.40 over 10 years.
• Increased paste yield by over a million dollars by redesign of ketchup process system.
• Reduced net weight waste by over $200,000 in three years by center lining filler heights.

PORTION PACK SUPERVISION
• Relocation and implementation of Single Serve Department consisting of 28 pouch packet machines and one Room Service Line from the Heinz Pittsburgh facility to the Fremont Ohio facility.
• Developed training plans and timeline for movement of machines and employees to the new department.
• Colllaborated with engineers to develop system to make and move ketchup to the various lines and systems. This acomplishment was performed without experienced corporate developers.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, FILLING
• Responsibilities under direction of 2nd shift General Supervisor for approximately 40 union employees in the making and bottling of ketchup for up to 8 production lines.
• Responsible during seasonal operations for tomato processing into making ketchup and tomato paste.
• Managed safety, quality and productivity of Kitchen, Filling department 2nd shift.
• Assisted in troubleshooting equipment problems and helping create cost effective solutions or repairs.
• Responsible for enforcing company policies for the 2nd shift Kitchen, Filling department.
