Production Manager

• Refurbished the only Paper Machine, RECARD, Crescent Former.

• Reached company objective of 1500 MPM design speed with good quality within one month after installing a new Fan-pump, a Yankee grind and the new creping doctor holder. Did all the profiling of micro-adjustments.

• Updated and enforced the Health & Safety system.

• Coordinated all R&D projects and, in conjunction with maintenance, scheduled shut-down needs

• Assembled brand new paper machine (Metso, DCT 100), selected the employees, trained them and started the machine in May 2006 successfully. Production rate increased steadily every month until it reached maximum speed design.

• Coordinated all R&D projects.

• Started another brand new Crescent Former machine in January 2009, Metso DCT 100.

• Supervised operations of the tea and coffee paper manufacturing using six TAD and a double head-box.

• In charge of the production optimization for the Simpson Clough and Devon Valley facilities.

• Coordinated the cost reduction program for the Lydney mill and production improvements for all facilities.

• Transferred from Venezuela to bring on-line a new twin wire, high speed tissue machine.

• Ensured machine consistently produced Ultra soft products with increase in tonnage after the machine was commissioned in February.

• Implemented the technology and process capability to produce high grade Ultra soft tissue to extremely high tolerances.
