7/05 – Present Town of Billerica, School Department, Payroll Officer: Supervise the preparation of bi-weekly payroll checks and reports. Data entry input of all exception for completing the current payroll. Assists with the formulation of the annual school salary budget under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. Supervise the preparation of financial reports to the Federal and State governments: W-2 annual wage report, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Reports. Analyze payroll office functions, determine operating needs, and plan work flow. Analyze newly negotiated employee contracts for additional employee benefits. Calculate pay rate for employees to include those who change jobs with the system. Oversee handling and transmission of direct deposit accounts. Responsible for clerical accounting work in the preparation and maintenance of municipal payroll records and calculations to include appropriate sick leave, overtime, personal leave, vacations, and other miscellaneous wage and compensation actions as they pertain to the preparation and maintenance of payrolls. Assists or oversees in managing of the district’s insurance program.

Data entry input of all exception for completing the current payroll. Examine all payrolls for all departments for accuracy, legality and availability of funds with the Payroll Office. Perform all attendance, monthly, quarterly, yearly reports on a timely manner. Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing and performed other related duties as required.
9/99 – 11/00 Town of Billerica, Town Accountant Office, Principal Clerk: Performed bookkeeping duties which included entering invoices, examining invoices for accuracy, verifying purchase orders and contracts for availability of funds.
