Production/Project Geologist (Oil sands) 03/2008 – Present

Terracon Geotechnique Ltd., Fort McMurray Alberta, Canada

Currently performing the following duties at Muskeg river mine, Shell Albian Sands Energy., Fort Mc Murray;

• Actively coordinating with the production geologist related to geologic settings.

• Working with Vulcan modeling software, preparing geological cross-sections for tars and reserves,

planning and operations.

• Ore stockpiles management; Lidar scans processing, assign ore characteristics to the stockpiles

based on the block model and releasing monthly stockpile reports.

• Sample collection, facies identification, change block models based on sample results and field

observation relative to the bitumen grade, fines & D50 (grain size).

• Performing test pits and creating sign off maps for geo-technical group.

• Executing the in-pit core drilling and auger drilling operations for the improvement of geological

model when required.

• Carrying out daily/monthly tar sands reconciliation.

• Interacting with Engineering, Mine Operations and Dispatch about all issues concerning ore quality &

production.

Field Geologist (winter drilling) 11/2007 – 03/2008

Synenco Energy Inc., Fort McMurray Alberta, Canada

Successfully accomplished four months winter drilling assignment for Synenco Energy Inc.

Performed the following duties;

• Monitor two rigs for core recovery and core logging simultaneously.

• Monitor and providing casing & coring points to the driller.

• Co-ordinate with driller for the enhanced core recovery.

• Co-ordinate with logger for logging the in timely fashion.

• Prepare geologic log and daily reports for client.

• Assist client in Correlating and interpreting geophysical log and geologic log.

Well-site Geologist 12/2006 – 10/2007

Running Horse Resources Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Worked as a Well-site geologist on directional wells in different areas of Alberta, Canada.

Duties included;

• Identify Formations’ Top, Casing and Coring Point.
