Duties and Responsibilities:
Review all applicable codes, project specifications, engineering standards, Quality Control Procedure, Inspection and Test Plan and applied during inspection as the productions are in progress.
Monitor and perform Welders Qualification Test prior to qualified welders before the productions start.
Monitoring welding is done as per the Welding Procedure Specifications.
Monitoring of welding materials and consumables such as proper handling and daily inspection of consumable storage if it is at proper conditions.
Witness and perform Non Destructive Testing such Radiograph, Magnetic and Penetrant Testing.
Review test package to ensure that all require documents are properly and completely attach and the required data is correctly encoded.
Monitor welding is done in controlled manner to avoid distortion and welding conditions are controlled.
Inspect checks and identifies piping materials that are being fabricated and properly installed to determine their conformity to the requirements as per drawings and material specifications.
Conduct field inspection works on regular basis such as fit-up inspection, dimensional check, pre heat, inter pass temperature and visual inspection.
Maintain WPS, PQR, WQTR, Continuity record, Welder List and other welding record.
Provide technical assistance to the welding team to ensure full quality control of welding operations.
Identifying non-conformance of the contractors design to project specification requirements pertaining to QA/QC Mechanical /Piping aspects of the project.
Make discrepancy and surveillance report if there is a deviation on the procedure and standards mostly on damage materials for fabrication and installation during the work progress.
Inspect checks and identifies piping materials that are being fabricated and properly installed to determine their conformity to the requirements of the isometric drawings and material specifications.
Perform line checking for preparation for testing and review isometric drawings to check if all items were been installed properly as per drawing requirements and specifications.
Witness pressure testing pneumatic testing, service testing, vacuum testing and hydro testing prior for client acceptance if all line included was made according to standards.
Perform punch list clearing prior for testing and clear all punch items during reinstatement.
Build and maintain all inspection reports and testing reports and have appropriate turnover documentation binders for each phase of the project, which include all mechanical and piping test results.
Check if the working area is safe to start the work and production must go on without any lost time injury to insure the safety of all the personnel and give safety suggestion every time that I found any unsafe act and any unsafe thing at the working place for modification to avoid any accidents.
