Responsible for Fleet Remarketing, to include wholesale and auction processes. Supervised team of salesman across the country by region. These salesman sold wholesale with pricing I provided. Sales team consisted of up to 12 sales people.

Manage a staff of up to 10 employees to oversee all facets of fleet operations, to include title and registration, sales, purchases, fleet accounting and tax reporting for a fleet size of 25,000 units.

Assisted in opening and operation of a retail car sales location. Processed all sales transactions, registration and collection of sale proceeds. Supervised team of 2 salesman at this location.

Oversee financial posting of all fleet costs and car sales transactions for the company. Process the month end close of all fleet accounting for posting to the general ledger.

Coordinated turnback of program cars to the manufacturers to include reveiwing condition reports and arbitration on units that were not initially accepted. Submitted forecasts of return units.

Review used car markets to maximize sale and purchase opportunities.

Develop and maintain vendor relationships to improve proficiency and profitability. Develop new vendor relations for fleet products.

Perform audit and inspection functions in the field when required.

Oversee and review scheduled maintenance on fleet. Set up maintenance schedules to include oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

Reviewed estimates on all damaged vehicles to determine sale or repair. Handled sale of all units that were not repaired. (Salvage vehicles)

12 years previous experience in the banking and savings and loan industry with background in commercial and retail lending to include dealer floor planning.
