Profesional Profile & Experience

Photography has been a part of my life since the early age when I was excited to know all about my father's 30-year-old Praktica, but became an important part of my life in 2003.

I've been working with several Slovene magazines and am still active as a member of one of the largest Slovene agencies Dax-photo ( HYPERLINK "http://www.dax-photo.com/"dax-photo.com) as well as the biggest Slovene music e-zine Rockonnet ( HYPERLINK "http://www.rockonnet.com/"rockonnet.com)

In 2004 I contributed to the concept behind the “ HYPERLINK "http://www.3delavnica.com/index.php?main=novice-arhiv&dan=mesec09&leto=2004"World's first floating exhibition”, where a large format print that can be seen in my portfolio has streamed down the Ljubljanica river.

In 2005 I was awarded with Daily Deviation on 'Flovering 5', 'Spezzacuori' was selected as the best photography of 2005 - HOF (Hall Of Fame, www.3delavnica.com) and 'Silence hurts the most' chosen to be presented on the first Devmeet in Slovenia (Ljubljana, Kiberpipa - gallery 404).

In 2006 I was featured in 'What Digital Camera Magazine', the UK's premier digital photography magazine, 'Yes, I'm a salad' finished 8. at the photography contest - HOF (Hall Of Fame, www.3delavnica.com).

In 2007 I got a 'Reader's Choice' award for photo 'Laika' on www.ephotozine.com, 'We Need To Wake Up' won the 'We are placed in this place and time' competition.

2007 was also the year when I decided to focus more on concert photography and so far I've covered almost every known Slovene band and musician, as well as Pink (several times in London, Graz, Ljubljana, Schladming), 50 Cent (Ljubljana), The Bacon Brothers (New York), Abigail Washburn (New York), KT Tunstall (New York)

Up to date I have held 1 independent exhibition and have participated in several collective showings in Slovenia and around Europe, winning over 20 awards.

Background & Education

I am 24 years old, I was born in small town (Trbovlje) in Slovenia in 1984. I am a high school graduate with two years of college at the University of Education, Ljubljana.

I gained a lot of photographic experiences visiting and participating in seminars around Slovenia, as well as taking courses while living in London, UK between 2004 and 2005. My latest visited seminar was this year in New York, held by VII agency.

Skills

I am well versed in all aspects of photography and I am very enthusiastic about it; have visual content with a consistent sense of style; pass very good photographic skills with good knowledge of equipment and lighting; strong computer skills with complete knowledge of Photoshop.

I have ability to confidently approach and interact with people; strong verbal skills, including the ability to speak and interact with groups of people.

I am able to work independently; to multi task; to work in team environment and to follow a schedule and instructions.

I am flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
