Electrical Engineer

Responsible for the electrical and automation contract engineering and other groups associated with facility engineering to include mechanical groups.

Responsible for all electrical and mechanical systems, drives, PLC's, Instrumentation, switch gear, and all other facilities.

Maintenance General Supervisor; repair and reliability of Cranes, and Auxiliary Equipment. Implemented a program to convert seven magnetic cranes to VFD cranes using Toshiba Ace Tronic Drives resulting in 97% uptime, Payback on this modification was nine months, and decrease in loading time and customer satisfaction.

Manage planning/scheduling and implemented a Life Cycle program working with the Life Cycle group out of Charleston SC.

Implemented the Reliability Excellence program through maintenance and operation groups.

Electrical Facility Engineer responsible for High Voltage, Instrumentation and Controls.

Project Manager; Replaced Siemens S5 PLC’s and with Siemens S7, upgrade wonder ware hardware and software with modified tags.

Ensured drawings were changed to reflect as built and checked all turnover documents.

Maintain automation programs for all Roll Mill automation systems.

Instituted Arc Flash program at the facility including labeling all equipment.
