- Designed new products with regulations and MSDS’s in mind.
- Tested and implemented changes to address consumer concerns, make products greener, less expensive, or improve performance.
- Did cycle time studies for cost calculations.
- Performed various lab analysis, including wet chemistry, titrations, and trace analysis
- Increased batch sizes of standard solutions; saved eight man hours monthly
- Performed synthesis, isolation, purification, analysis, characterization, and modifications
- Reviewed chemical analysis and certificate of analysis of incoming raw materials
- Reprogrammed Atomic Absorption Computer to identify nearly out-of specification chemistries; saved the company approximately $1,200,000
- Researched, tested and did troubleshooting on problematic material
- Failure analysis experience and wrote corrective action reports (CAR’s)
- Made stops and jigs to mass produce new engineered parts
Quality Control Inspection and Testing
- Created a Quality Control Testing Program by collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing the data using SPC methods, then writing procedures and pass/fail specifications
- Developed and implemented new QC tests different products
- Tested incoming raw materials, “in process” and final products
