Responsible for the set-up and evaluation of new and transferred machines in vacuum process and assigned in special projects which aims to improve the process capability, yield and product quality. New Product and Process Introduction / Technological Development
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Provides Leadership to two teams consist of (2) Engineers and (3 Technicians in sustaining suitable process conditions in the production line.
• Set-up process for new product introduction and established its Standard Operation Procedure and instructions.
• Conducted initial test and coordinated evaluation results of new machines, jigs and modern manufacturing technologies with overseas process development center and prepare technology transfer documents for local mass production application
• Design/Modify process methods, tools and equipment for improvement
• Optimization of the machine parameters to reduce process deviation
• Extensive work experience in new product introduction and special projects, process development, and yield improvement
• Increase the production yield through reduction of defects produced in the assigned process.
• Performs failure analysis and schedules action plans relevant to the designed corrective or preventive measures

WORK ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Yield Improvement
• CCSF (Chip, Crack, Surface finish) Defect reduction, Optimized and Control material loading process and introduce new method of material transfer from material cleaning fixture to DLC deposition fixture which lead to the reduction of defect from 0.7% to 0.2%
• E21 ( DLC feel off) Defect reduction, Optimized cleaning machine and control contamination prior Si/DLC deposition which lead to the reduction of defect from 0.25% to 0.05%
• 09 (Wrong process) Defect reduction, Standardize DLC coating deposition procedure and training of operators which lead to the elimination of the defect from 0.3% to 0%
• R+ ,R-,X+,X- ( QST defect) Optimized Ion beam etching process which lead to the reduction of defect from 1.2% to 0.7%
• O10 (Broken Material) Defect reduction, Control material loading / material unloading process and introduce new method of material loading and unloading procedure which lead reduction of defect from 0.5% to 0.1%
Cost Reduction
• AK400 (Xenonlamp) Cost reduction, Optimized machine measurement result which lead to 65% cost reduction of xenon lamp in ellipsometer equipment machine.

• Tau-0746 (Rubber Sheet) Cost reduction increase usage of rubber by DLC coating of both side which lead to 50% cost reduction
Process and Productivity Improvement
• Implementation of DLC deposition process control KPIV – KPOV (Key process input/output value) set incoming monitoring procedure control OCAP for Si/DLC deposition process maintain and sustain the line.
• DLC process lead time improvement, Implementation of 1SB (single current block), Reduction of lead time from 2hrs to 1hr
• DLC rework reduction, Implementation of DLC fixture Altic spacer which lead to the reduction of rework from 3% to 0.5%
• Ion Beam Etching and DLC uniformity, Optimized IBE and DLC parameter which lead to the uniformity improvement from 15% to <10%
