• Introduced and started writing all new development in RPG ILE and assisted other programmers on the two AS/400 System V5R1, V5R2 with JDE/R7.3. One is serving all U.S. branches, one in the UK serving the European branches.
• Used DB2/UDB SQL interface to all programming I/O interface instead of AS/400 native I/O
• Write DB2/UDB user functions and procedures to facilitate updating of our database table or producing reports on the regular basis
• Developed a new sales order system for the European branches due to introduction of new lines of produces for tubing. The system includes cut to size, pick, pack, and shipped confirmation.
• Developed an end of the month reporting system for both branches which mails the accounting group on the first day of every month (17 reports). The system included: year to date roll, forward of inventory transaction, and sales of materials for the last 24 months.
• Designed and wrote an Inventory Cycle count system used by all branches on the basis of month end and auditor request.
• Electronic transfer of supplier order and forecast system
• Designed and developed a system to receive supplier orders on the daily basis and the forecast for material required on the weekly basis. The system includes receiving of orders on the company server
• Facilitated the daily processing of data. This includes the transfer of shipment information. Aide in the dissemination of 6 types of record formats for communication between the two companies IT. Also, insure receipt of electronic forecast report from suppliers for requested materials, which is sent to purchasing.
