Description:
MICA is a mainframe application which does almost all functionality for a Mobile Services and Customers. MICA does activation and other transactions like port, churn, technology transfer, migration etc. of prepaid and postpaid services. MICA runs call pricing for all the calls made by a service and bills postpaid services. MICA also has the functionality of taking the payment from different payment agencies. This application creates and maintain customer details and does different customer management activities. MICA also creates and manages SIMs and services, provision and de-provision network and non-network products for accounts and account services. MICA maintains a record of different dealers and service providers and it is responsible for a part of dealer’s commission system of Telstra.
Responsibilities:
Application Developer
• Analyzing the Solution Design / Technical Specification document and developing the solution.
• Preparing Unit Test Plans.
• Developing new programs and enhancing the existing programs using design documents under the major release and non-release tasks using COBOL, JCL, DB2 and AllFusion Gen.
• Performing unit testing and documenting the test results.
• Preparing Application Specification Document for specific procedures.
• Conducting peer reviews.
• Worked as a MTIC (MICA Test Incident Control) resource during system test phase analyzing the defects raised by system test team and fixing them, if required and performing defect management activities.
