Position: Senior Commissioning Engineer
Duties: Commissioning the Kongsberg K Chief, K Safe, K Pos & Hipap DCS Systems on the Delba 3 Semi Sub Drilling Rig in Abu Dhabi. I was also partially responsible for the F.M.E.A that was carried out in conjunction with Noble Denton on sea trials, prior to the rig’s sail away to go on contract with the Brazilian oil company Petrobras.

Duties: Working for a Singapore law company as a technical expert in an arbitration case between a shipyard & a drilling company. The job involved reading through all the E & I documentation relevant to the drill floor & the CO2 system & then formulating reports for the court in Singapore & ultimately appearing in court before the arbitration panel.

Duties: Verified analogue & digital I/O’s to the Kongsberg DCS & corrected design inconsistencies on the shipyard supplied E & I drawings on 3 Maersk DP Semi Sub Drilling Rigs. Responsibilities also included the mechanical completion verification & documentation collation for the marine, utilities & drilling packages, using CCMS . Commissioning & acceptance documentation completed after integration testing of the complete rig systems.
