Worked with AIGGS operations team with large environment. Managed the day to day problem fixing on the Windows NT, 2000 & 2003 servers, Active Directory and to some extend on Networking. Involved in managing various operational projects.

This project involves the following tasks:

• Managing over 6000 servers across the globe for AIG

• Managed the compliance team to deliver the 95% of windows system adhere to AIG corporate security requirements

• Managed and coordinate with multiple BU’s of AIGGS on the patch management on quarterly basis

• Managed the migration team to Migrating Servers to Active directory environment from NT domains

• Ensure MacAfee antivirus with the latest version on all the servers (Around 3500 servers) on the AIGGS managed network. Also to make sure the latest EPO agent running on them.

• All the Windows Intel servers are patched according to the AIGGS windows security standard.

• Audit the new servers before into production for the AIGGS standard software installation

• New server build (Windows 2000 & 2003) according to the AIGGS standard

• Audit remediation on the security patches

• Weekly MIS on the servers with the patching and antivirus to Global Manager

Project 9: Windows Server Lockdown

Client: American International Group, Data Center, NJ

Duration: August’04 – August’05

Worked on the Server Lock down project, to lock down 1500 Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers to adhere to the latest patches and security settings.

This project involves the following tasks:

• Check the backup of all the servers, install and configure backup jobs with Legato Backup software on the servers with no backup.

• Co-ordinate with the business and get the approvals to do the server lock down on the servers.

• Apply the patches, registry settings and security settings on the servers according to the AIG security standards

• Resolve any application issues arise during the patching process.

• Rebuild the server and restore the data from the backup in case of Server failure.

• Test the critical applications in the test lab by creating the exact replicas of the production environment in the test lab do the server lock down on the test environment before the server lockdown is done on the production environment.

• Installing Mcafee 7.1 on the servers with the latest epo agent as per AIG standard

• Designed and implemented voice network for Polaris Jersey City using Nortel Option 11c PBX system to connect about 15 locations across the globe through ITG trunking protocol

• Coordinated with MCI for getting the T1 data circuit between Weehawken and Iselin

• Commissioned Cisco 2651 with IPSEC secured tunnel in both the peer ends

• Using IKE key sharing the data is encrypted and decrypted in both the ends
