Training:
I attended Pacific Coast School of Trucking in Eugene, Oregon. Was taught to properly operate a combination vehicle .Was also taught the proper ways to load and unload to also understand the bridge laws. This also included the proper way to maintain a log book, to properly adjust brakes, secure loads and to do preventive maintenance. The equipment used was cab over freightliners with 45 foot reefers.
Truck Driving Experience:
Drove a variety of conventional trucks. Worked in construction and hauling pulling a wide range of trailers to include goose neck trailers, lowboys, belly dumps, dry bulk trailers, refers, dry vans, hot oil tankers, 53 ft car hauler and step decks. Loaded and unload, secured and delivered cars and John Deere tractors, profilers, coils, pipe, plate steel, lumber, shingles, and crated glass. Maintained and repaired equipment assigned including truck trailers and hydraulic systems. Kept log books as per DOT Regulations. Helped to find loads when in an area that we normally didn’t service.
