Michia Monique Donald was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 2, 1979. She spent 10 years in Japan, during those years Michia performed with a variety of artist and studio work in all areas of music, U.S. artist such as Boys 2 Men, (TV show Atsushi Premium Live Japan), Cece Peniston(Tokyo), Marc Evans,(Tokyo) Ashanti (Tour Tokyo & Fukuoka), Stevie Wonder (K-1), John Legend (Live with AI), Bobby Lyle & Duke Jones (Jz Brat live opening for Cafe Soul Records), Olivia, Ray J,& Latoya (Opening MI), local bands Randy Scott (Jazz band Detroit), Crowd Pleasers (band MI), Umoja (band MI) Flavah (Michia's band Tokyo) Think Alike( Michia's band) & many more. Japanese artist Atsushi ( Atsushi Premium Live featuring Boys 2 Men), AI (live back vocals), Sowelu (TV Asahi), Oguro Maki (CD back vocals), Koda Kumi ( TV Promos) & Chemistry (CD back vocals), Tokyo Idol, commercials such as Suica, Obento, and many more. Chinese artist Jane Zhang (Chengdu back vocals), Mc Donald's commercial jingle in Hong Kong. She has performed in venues & clubs in Asia and the US .Michia performed in first-class hotels such as Sheraton, Marriot, Intercontinental. Michia also opened up for Lexus (2009 Christmas show) car company in Tokyo, Japan. Lastly she recorded songs with Sony, Victor and King Records Japan. She has recently moved back to Michigan to further pursue her career in the music industry.
