Serco North America is a federal government contractor aiding 400 contracts in the areas of IT services, systems engineering, and HR-focus business process management to all branches of the US military, federal civilian, state, and local agencies. The Corporate HR department supports ~9,000 employees in the US in 45 states, 4 Canadian provinces and 14 countries abroad. Provides support for process improvement for HR Operations and Compensation and Compliance team’s workflow efficiency, creating better systems, and processes.

HR Operations

Spearheads project implementation within the annual HR Operations plan (Mid-Year/Year-End Appraisal, Talent Management, Severance Agreement processes, etc.) involving functional and cross-functional initiatives.

Generates various ad hoc reports for the Director of HR Operations and various business leaders while streamlining systems and administrative process using flow charts and cross-functional teamwork.

Utilizes standard human resource concepts, practices, and procedures to facilitate short and long-term HR initiatives; initiated the review and update of company policies, procedures, and forms while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws; and identifies opportunities where HR can add value to employee engagement and/or the organization.
