ACADEMIC PROJECTS
B.Tech:
1.
o Project Title: Top switch based switching mode power supply (SMPS).
o Brief Description: In this project by using top switch based switching mode power supply we can get different DC voltages from a single AC voltage. By using high frequency transformers and top switch the size of SMPS can be greatly reduced.
2.
o Project Title: A noniterative load flow algorithm for radial distribution networks using fuzzy set approach and interval arithmetic.
o Brief Description: This project presents an application of fuzzy set theory and interval arithmetic for computing the branch currents, node voltages, total real and reactive power losses in a distribution system.
M.Tech:
o Project Title: Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) of multiple photovoltaic (PV) array system with H-Bridge inverter (microcontroller based).
o Brief Description: This project presents a new maximum power point tracking (MMPT) technique for multiple photovoltaic arrays operating under different levels of irradiance, temperature and at different load conditions. Variations in these conditions will cause multiple local maximum power points (MPPs) on the P-V and I-V curves of the PV modules. In these conditions it is difficult to find the global MPP using conventional MPPT techniques. To overcome this difficulty a low cost microcontroller based MPPT technique coupled with H-Bridge inverter has been implemented. The proposed technique requires only one pair of sensors to find global MPP of multiple PV arrays, thereby resulting in lower cost, higher overall efficiency, and simplicity. The proposed algorithm has written in c language and embedded in Atmega32 microcontroller using Code VISION AVR.
SUMMER TRAINING
Organization- MNNIT
o Project Title- An improved MPPT based Photovoltaic (PV) system for standalone applications using H-Bridge inverter (microcontroller based).
o Duration- 45 Days.
o Brief Description- In this project we can transfer the maximum power from PV module to AC utility side with improved MPPT based Photovoltaic system under environmental and load changing conditions.
