A Electro-Mechanical engineer with 19 years experience in sea going & Technical Management on ship Building, Repair and Building of Jack up, Semi floating Oil Rigs, Rig servicing& installation, commissioning, trials of onboard systems, construction mobile machineries/cranes and industrial hydraulics/automation and works planning, Developing, implementing of technical information and providing technical solutions, facilitating corporate growth with cross functional team with diverse technical backgrounds. Service Engineer

A Multinational Company, Manufacture, supply, installation and service of Marine Diesel Engines/Propulsion systems/Automation and control systems for marine and industrial surroundings with 60000 staff around the globe. Reporting to the Manager Propulsion field Services .

Main Responsibilities

• Erection and commissioning, Trouble shooting, repair and overhaul of Azimuth Thrusters, Tunnel Thrusters, Controllable Pitch propellers, water jet propulsion ,Dynamic positioning system , Hydraulics and pneumatic & Electrical automation systems of Wartsila Propulsion.

• Selection of Marine Propulsion system packages, Estimation and calculation of ship and Oil Rig propulsion power and making of system’s operation and service manuals and preparing design/installation/commissioning technical and commercial reports for its own purposes.

• Calculation of hydraulic/Pneumatic flow and pressure, selection of system control valves, Pumps & motors , Design of servo/proportional hydraulics and selection servo and proportional valves and valve drivers, Design and construction of hydraulic power packs, design construction of hydraulic cylinder selection and installation of tubes for hydraulic and pneumatic system and commissioning of systems (Overhaul/repair and trouble shooting )for industrial , marine and off shore facilities.

Achievements –

• Design and Establish Marine hydraulics workshop of automated test bench for hydraulic valves , motors, engine lub oil system , propulsion control valves o reduce the down time onboard and sure to make zero rework.

• Achieved big cost saving by early completion on Installation of dynamic positioning thrusters on board SBM deep sea semi floating oil drilling rigs.
