Corporate Safety &Risk Manager
Developed and implemented safety incentive programs, including Loss Time Programs. Managed day-to-day activities of the corporate risk management functions including self-insured workers compensation, general liability, auto claims management, employee safety, loss prevention, quality control.
Conducted the necessary and requisite Risk Management training to employees and managers. Served as a consultant to senior management on relevant safety and Quality Control issues and along with senior management. Assisted in the implementation of programs and initiatives to ensure internal and external compliance. Ensured DOT compliance.
Accomplishments:
Reduced claim losses saving 3.5M over 3 years.
Developed and implemented a safety disciplinary/performance matrix that significantly reduced safety infractions.
Developed the process for hiring insurance brokerage firms.
Developed and implemented first comprehensive SB198 safety and claims management program.
