Camp Lejeune/ Al Taqqadum, Iraq

Set up and operate AN/TRC-170 link from Al Taqqadum (TQ) to Fallujah within the Al An bar province in Iraq. Lead team of six (6) Marines to build entire site including billeting, secure working shelter, bunker with telecommunications, and transportation lot. Maintain two (2) synced Magnum generators and account for and perform preventative maintenance (PM) for sixteen (16) Magnum and 805 generators.

Climb commercial Communications towers of up to two-hundred (200) ft. to maintain all commercial antennas. Install new antennas and run coaxial cable from ground to link. Repair broken antennas in the event of sand storms. Sweep antennas using a compass or a pocket transit to achieve correct azimuth/back azimuth. Return home to (CLNC). Act as squad leader for Support Company, Terrestrial Platoon.

Camp Lejeune/ Al Fallujah Iraq

Join United States Marine Corps. Complete recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, California. Complete Marine Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Pendleton, California.
