Computer Specialist - As a member of the Customs Overtime and Scheduling System (COSS) team at U.S. Customs & Border Protection, I was in charge of the user’s requirement, systems analysis, coding, testing, and implementing new sub-systems within the COSS System (complete life-cycle). Using COBOL language, on-line CICS, and IBM JCL & utilities, designed, developed, and implemented the Budget Reports and Staffing systems to run on a mainframe computer. This is in addition to the development of numerous other parts of different sub-systems within the COSS System.

Sr. Programmer/Analyst - The latest large-scale project was the DB2 Conversion. I worked on the conversion of a large IMS system to DB2 on the IBM mainframe using DB2, COBOL, CICS, SPUFI, ACCESS, VSAM, ISAM, JCL & utilities. Converted existing batch and CICS online programs as well as writing new programs, including system analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance. As a member of the Origination Team, I was responsible for the Private Credit Loan Origination portion of the system.
