Experience

I have worked in plastics molding for 9 years and metal finishing for 15 years as a Quality Engineer/Manager. This experience includes QS9000, TS16969, PFMEA’s, DFMEA’s, Control Plans, Flow-Charts, gauge development, internal audits, external audits, and developing test plans. I have worked on GM and Chrysler from launch to finish as a Quality Engineer as well as Hyundai and Ford. Able to read blueprints (GD&T) and have worked with various gauges; mics, calipers, gauge pins, scales, and color spectrometers. Have the Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Working on a GM Program Launch providing the APQP activities; planning and directing activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for the parts. This includes ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials for the launch go through proper levels of inspection. Performing the GM PPQP Procedure for prototype parts and inputting the required information into the GM GQTS system. Provided prototype build support with the supervision of assembly operators, scheduling and set up of the operations work cell/flow. Also, gathered and input information for IMDS submissions.
