Conducted a senior honors project, Growing Two Species of Algae in Wastewater Effluent Samples and Analyzing Their Lipid Content for Use as a Biofuel.
Responsibilities include collecting samples, running tests, general lab clean-up, etc.
I have worked with soil samples, water samples, wastewater, phosphorous levels, cell cultures (E. coli, algae), etc.
Performed analysis of wastewater and other aquatic samples.

Used a variety of Standard Operating Procedures and techniques, including, but not limited to, Total Suspended Solids, Total Phosphorous, Total Dissolved Phosphorous, Dissolved Reactive Phosphorous field testing for salinity, field and laboratory testing for ph, field testing for dissolved oxygen, sterile laboratory transfers, proper pipetting, laboratory algae cultures, etc.
Used a variety of instruments, including, but not limited to, microscopes, ph meters, analytical balances various pipettes, spectrophotometers, etc.
