Given de scarcity of employment in the field of landscape architecture and construction in general in Portugal, I found the opportunity to start work on my own. Since 2004 I have been working as an independent landscape architect and in 2007 I opened my own company. The experience has been very rewarding. Often I assumed the role of coordinator of the projects and other times the role of expertise. In this years of practice, rising about 15 regular clients and others that are potential clients.

TEACHER, ADVISOR OF COURSE OF ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM
The teaching of Landscape Architecture, among other matters, allowed me to keep abreast of the development of concepts and practices of profession. The teaching focused primarily on the analysis of reading and understanding the natural and urban system of landscape and the planning process through the instruments studied, as well as across subjects that also operate on the natural and urban landscape. I also teach Topology and Geometry and, AutoCAD.

I started working as a Independent Landscape Architect with Daniela Apolinário (co-course) that as been my partner since present. It was very exciting and motivating start raising my clients and to develop projects in an autonomous way, where creativity and responsibility throughout the entire process has remained in our hands.

INTERNSHIP LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT, ÉVORA
After making the subject of Landscape Project V, I was invited by the professor of this subject to train in his office. This opportunity allowed me to start work in landscape architecture before finishing my degree, as well develop my internship report, focused on the projects that I develop, to finish de graduation. The small scale of the office allowed me to contact with all levels of the project and plan, from the analysis phase, through previous studies, to detail and follow-up work. It was a privilege to have begun work this way with as an extensive vision of the profession.
