Project Scope:

The project aims to build a data warehouse solution for business people at their business, by integrating the business data from various source systems. The solution will use a Dimensional Model to providing a multidimensional view and allow analytical and ad-hoc reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performed Data staging to load the records from flat files to oracle level.

Performed data manipulation using basic functions and informatica transformations.

Created mappings using transformations such as Source Qualifier, Aggregator, Expression, Lookup, Filter, Router, Rank, Sequence Generator.

Loaded slowly changing dimensions and Fact loading.

Used Informatica Workflow Manager to create, schedule, monitor sessions and send pre and post session emails to communicate success or failure of session execution.

Creating Unit test cases and performing Unit testing.

Debugged, edited break points while checking for data flow in transformations.
